This scenic century ride is the perfect challenge for cycling enthusiasts. You'll experience a breadth of quintessentially Wisconsin settings, including farmsteads with grazing cattle, charming lake views, shady woodlands and rolling fields.

Beginning at 7:00 a.m., riders can seek respite at any one of a number of quaint stops as they travel through Marshall, Lake Mills, Deerfield, Cambridge and Cottage Grove before returning to the Badger Challenge finish line.

This scenic ride is the perfect metric century for riders. You'll experience the beautiful Wisconsin countryside over the course of 67 miles with farmsteads, a beautiful lake view, and rolling fields.

Beginning at 7:30 a.m., riders can seek respite at any one of a number of quaint stops as they travel through Marshall, Lake Mills, Deerfield and Cottage Grove before returning to the Badger Challenge finish line.

The 50K route is our mid-distance option - not too long and not too short. You'll find plenty of picturesque farmsteads and lovely trees along this 32 mile course.

This route begins at 8:45 a.m. and loops through Cottage Grove before returning to the Badger Challenge finish line.

The 25K route is a great route for all skill levels. You'll see expansive fields, mature trees, barns and white picket fences along this 16 mile course.

This route begins at 9:00 a.m. and loops through scenic countrysides before returning to the Badger Challenge finish line.

The 5K route is perfect for pedalers of all ages and families young and old.

This route begins at 12:00 p.m. and travels 3 miles throughout the private American Family Insurance headquarters campus before returning to the Badger Challenge finish line.

Kids 2 and under are free to participate - participant shirt and medal not included.
Kids 3 – 12 will receive a discounted fee of $25 for any of the 5k routes (walk, run, bike).

Unable to be in Madison for Badger Challenge? You can still help power cancer research at the University of Wisconsin!

The Global Program allows individuals to partake in the mission of accelerating cancer research and patient treatment programs remotely. Whether you complete the 100 Mile, 100K, 50K, 25K or 5K distance in your town or on a stationary bike at your gym or home, you know that you are driving change and powering the most promising cancer research discoveries at the University of Wisconsin.

Participants who are part of the Global Program will receive a participant shirt and medal. Registration for the Global Program closes on Sunday, September 27th.

Register by September 13 to receive your Global Packet by event day, September 27. Register after September 13 and your Global Packet will be mailed AFTER the event. Shirt size not guaranteed.
